BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Athletics is set to be represented by 14 student-athletes that will be honored at summer commencement ceremonies Saturday, Aug. 10 at Reed Arena.
"I want to congratulate our summer graduates on this incredible achievement," Director of Athletics Trev Alberts said. "We look to provide our student-athletes with everything that they need to excel on the field, in the community and in the classroom to create well rounded individuals. Graduation is a major milestone not only for our student-athletes, but also our staff for all the time and effort they have dedicated to Texas A&M Athletics. Congratulations again to these 14 graduates and Gig 'em."
The 14 graduates are highlighted by student-athletes from 10 sports. Ted Burton (Baseball), Endyia Rogers (Women's Basketball), Cori Cansdale (Equestrian), Jaydan Wood (Women's Track & Field) and Lauren Hogan (Volleyball) earned master's degrees.
"As an athletics department, we are extremely proud of the 2024 summer graduating class," Executive Associate Athletics Director of Academics and Student-Athlete Engagement Dr. Dan Childs said. "Graduating from Texas A&M is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are super excited because this summer's class has a number of both graduate and undergraduate students. This dedication to academics should be celebrated and we are thrilled that all have completed their degrees. Because of their commitment to academics and our Core Values, I am confident that these Former Students will go on to even greater success in the future."
