BRISTOL, Conn. – The Texas A&M men's basketball team faces the Pittsburgh Panthers in a Tuesday, Dec. 2 road challenge as part of the 2025 ACC-SEC Challenge slate, ESPN announced on Thursday. The game's tip time will be announced at a later date.

It will be the Aggies' first trip to Pitt's Petersen Events Center and just the second time the two teams have met on the hardwood. The Panthers handed the Aggies a 79-62 defeat at the 1985 Sugar Bowl Tournament in New Orleans in the only previous meeting.

The Maroon & White are led by head coach Bucky McMillan, who arrived in Aggieland last spring after leading the Samford Bulldogs to three Southern Conference championships while averaging more than 23 wins in each of the past four seasons with the Bulldogs. The three-time SoCon Coach of the Year has re-tooled a roster that featured just a single returnee with 12 newcomers. Texas A&M is the only school to sign five players in the transfer portal all rated inside the top 100 at EvanMiya.com.
