Ware Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
Mar 26, 2025 | Women's Basketball
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Texas A&M's Lauren Ware was named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District Team, the organization announced earlier this week.
The all-district team was comprised of student-athletes from across the country that were at least a sophomore, had a cumulative GPA of 3.5 GPA or better and played in at least 90% of the institution's games along with several other academic and athletic criteria.
The 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District Women's Basketball teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Ware graduated with her bachelor's degree in society, ethics and law with a minor in communications and African studies in December of 2024. She is currently pursuing her master's in sports management.
The Bismarck, North Dakota, native led the team with 49 blocks this season and was No. 3 in the SEC in blocks per game (1.8). Ware was second on the team in rebounds per contest (6.7) and had a career day against Texas Southern where she scored 12 points and had a career-high 18 rebounds and seven blocks. Her seven swats versus the Tigers were tied for the third most in a game in program history.
