BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M women's basketball announced the signing of its second transfer of the 2025 offseason with the addition of Lemyah Hylton Tuesday.
"I am very excited to add Lemyah to our family and introduce her to the 12th Man," Head Coach Joni Taylor said. "Lemyah is a big athletic wing that can impact the game on both sides of the ball. She is an experienced guard that has played basketball in highly competitive environments. We love the spirit that she will bring to our locker room and Aggieland. Lemyah is an incredible addition that will fit into our culture and elevate our program."
Hylton spent the last two seasons at Miami where she played in 47 games and averaged 4.5 points and shot 38.0% from beyond the 3-point line. Nearly half of the incoming senior's total field goals made while playing for the Hurricanes was from beyond the arc, with 3-point field goal makes accounting for 48.7% of her made shots.
The 5-11 guard bolstered the second unit for Miami during the 2024-25 season with 10.6 minutes per game in 25 outings. She averaged 6.6 points per game during her sophomore campaign and led the team in 3-point field goal percentage at 39.1%.
The Mississauga, Ontario, native played her freshman season for the Arizona Wildcats. Out of high school, she was a four-star recruit and the No. 85 player on the 2022 ESPN HoopGurlz Recruiting Ranking.
Hylton joins Kaitlyn Duhon as transfers to join Taylor and Texas A&M this offseason.
