NORMAN, Okla. – Texas A&M standout Phichaksn Maichon earned a spot on the PING All-America Team released Monday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Maichon was named to the PING All-America Second Team. It marked the second PING honor for Maichon, who was a third-teamer last season. He claimed a spot on the Golfweek All-America First Team last week.
The Bangkok, Thailand, native capped off a successful 2024-25 campaign by finishing runner-up at the NCAA Championship, the best performance ever for an Aggie. He registered victories at the SeaBest Invitational and the Aggie Invitational and placed in the top 10 in eight of his last nine events, including a third-place effort at the SEC Championship.
Finishing No. 9 in the Scoreboard National Player Rankings powered by Clippd, Maichon was named All-SEC First Team in April and PING All-Central Region in May. Maichon ended his collegiate career with four tournament victories.
Maichon finished No. 6 in the final PGA TOUR University Ranking to earn his Korn Ferry Tour card for the remainder of the 2025 campaign. He made his debut last weekend with a 56th place result at the BMW Charity Pro-Am in Greer, South Carolina.
