Jul 03, 2025 | Swimming and Diving
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) named 28 Aggies to its Scholar All-America Teams, the organization announced Thursday afternoon. Both the men's and women's squads were also honored as CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams, notching a 3.0 GPA or higher for the spring 2025 semester.
To qualify for Scholar All-America First Team distinction, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5-or-higher and competed at NCAA Championships. Second-Team selections must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championships or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
Chloe Stepanek, who began work on a master's in Kinesiology this year after graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in biomedical sciences, highlights the group of first-team Aggies, earning Scholar All-America honors for the fifth time in her career. The 16-time All-American in the pool helped lead the Maroon & White at her final NCAA Championships as she brought home three All-America accolades, including a top-16 individual finish in the 200 free.
On the men's side, Rhett Hensley led the group of honorees with a historical finish to his diving career at A&M. The construction science major placed fourth on platform at NCAA Championships and helped the Aggies post their highest combined finish in the event in program history.
