
Texas A&M Athletics Announces External Unit Changes

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Athletics has rounded out its external leadership team with new unit lead appointments in athletics communications, 12th Man Productions and 12th Man Creative, Executive Senior Associate AD for External Relations & Revenue Generation Taylor McGillis announced Thursday morning.
"I'm excited to announce well-deserved promotions and new hires in critical leadership roles across our external team," McGillis said. "Our mission is to elevate the Texas A&M brand, unite Aggies worldwide through engaging content and create unforgettable experiences for the 12th Man. These appointments position us to be innovative, collaborative and revenue-focused as we work to accomplish our goals."
Following the retirement of longtime communications leader Alan Cannon, Rachel Perreault has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Athletics Communications. Perreault will lead the day-to-day operations of the communications office while also serving as the primary media relations contact for the men's basketball program. Joining the staff in late July, Kat Castner was named Assistant AD for Football Communications and Branding. Castner, who brings experience from Missouri and Duke, serves as the primary contact for Texas A&M football and head coach Mike Elko, while also overseeing the newly formed football creative team.
In 12th Man Productions, the unit responsible for creative video production, video board presentations and broadcast services, Buddy Kimberlin has been elevated to Associate AD, succeeding Andy Richardson, who retired in August after more than three decades of service to the University. Within the unit, Thomas Burns has been promoted to Director of Broadcasts.
Later this month, Rachael Harris will join the department as Assistant AD for 12th Man Creative. Harris arrives after six years at Arkansas and will lead Texas A&M's digital and social media strategy, graphic design and photography teams.
Rounding out the external units is Assistant AD Kristy Williams, who is in her 10th year at Texas A&M leading the department's marketing and fan experience efforts.
