Cross Country Earns Six USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

The Texas A&M men's cross country team and five individual student-athletes earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors, the organization announced Thursday.

NEW ORLEANS – The Texas A&M men's cross country team and five individual student-athletes earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors, the organization announced Thursday.
 
Following the conclusion of the 2025 cross country season, the Aggies secured six USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. The men's program was awarded the team honor, as the group boasted a cumulative GPA of 3.0 following the conclusion of the season.
 
Four members of the women's team including Sophia Bendet, Joyce Kemboi, Megan Roberts and Elise Smoot and men's team member Cooper Cawthra garnered individual academic honors. The athletes earned their All-Academic distinction by holding a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and finishing in the top-25 at the NCAA Regional Championships.
