Aggie Trio Claims All-Central Region Honors

NORMAN, Oklahoma – Three members of the Texas A&M men's golf team were recognized on the PING All-Central Region Team announced by the GCAA in the middle of the NCAA Championships.

NORMAN, Oklahoma – Three members of the Texas A&M men's golf team were recognized on the PING All-Central Region Team announced by the GCAA in the middle of the NCAA Championships.
 
Wheaton Ennis, Shiv Parmar and Aaron Pounds earned the honor for their prolific 2025-26 campaign. It marked the second all-region for Ennis while Parmar and Pounds picked up the award for the first time.
 
Ennis currently owns his highest career spot in the Scoreboard National Player Ranking powered by Clippd at No. 21. He owns six top 10s this season, including a runner-up showing at the NCAA Bryan Regional. He also placed third at the SeaBest Invitational and the talent-laden Valspar Collegiate Invitational. He owns a 68.7 adjusted scoring average thru 38 rounds with an 873-182-42 W-L-T.
 
Parmar claimed a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team. He boasts a 69.5 adjusted scoring average over 28 rounds with a 545-168-27 W-L-T. Parmar has logged four top 10s, including the two postseason tournaments. He placed seventh at the SEC Championships and eighth at the NCAA Bryan Regional. Parmar checks in at No. 74 on the Scoreboard Ranking, the highest spot in his career.
 
Pounds finished first on the leaderboard in two events this season, including the 2nd Swing Gopher Invitational and the SeaBest Invitational. He also placed fourth at the Marquette Intercollegiate and the Steelwood Collegiate. Pounds sports a 69.1 adjusted scoring average through 39 rounds with an 820-228-50 W-L-T. He is slotted No. 59 in the Scoreboard Ranking.
