BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M volleyball’s Kyndal Stowers was named to the 2026 Preseason All-SEC Team, while the Aggies were projected to finish third in the league’s annual preseason coaches’ poll, the conference announced Wednesday.
The Maroon & White were tabbed for a third-place finish for the second-straight season earning 191 points, while also receiving one first-place vote. Texas A&M is coming off its first national title after a historic NCAA Tournament run which saw them down three No. 1 seeds, ultimately sweeping Kentucky for the championship crown. Last year’s group finished the year with a 29-4 record, marking its most wins in a season since 1984 and held a 14-1 ledger in league play to take second.
Stowers earned her first SEC Preseason All-SEC Team nod, following a standout debut season in Aggieland. She joined the program in the spring of 2025 and became an integral part to team’s success, racking up 385 kills in her first season back in action, including 92 in the NCAA Tournament run. She was a consistent presence for the Maroon & White, logging 10 or more kills on 21 occasions and a season high of 25 in the Elite Eight matchup with Nebraska.
