RICHMOND, Va. – Texas A&M Swimming & Diving was represented by 22 student-athletes on the 2025-26 CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, the organization announced.
Earning first-team honors were Ella McQuinn, Joslyn Oakley, Kaitlyn Owens, Reagan Sherrard and Eloise Williamson from the women’s team and Logan Brown, Emilio Trevino Laureano and Ben Sytsma from the men’s squad.
Receiving second-team honors were Bridget Foster, Claire Gass, Giulia Goerigk, Kailey Kennedy, Macy Lewis, Rachel Love, Chloe McKnight, Lillie Sczech, Ella Smoker and Katie Walker from the women’s squad and Bucky Gettys, Munzy Kabbara, AJ Robinson and John Simmons for the men.
“Having 22 student-athletes earn CSCAA Scholar All-America honors is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the commitment they bring to both academics and athletics, Texas A&M Director of Swimming & Diving Blaire Anderson said. “Excelling in the classroom while competing at this level requires discipline, focus and hard work, and we're incredibly proud of what these individuals have achieved. This recognition speaks to the standards our student-athletes set for themselves and the culture of excellence we strive to maintain throughout our program.”
Texas A&M swimming & diving scholastic supervisor Carter Spexarth added, “This recognition is a testament to the exceptional work ethic and commitment our student-athletes demonstrate both in the classroom and in the pool. Earning CSCAA Scholar All-America honors reflects the countless hours they dedicate to pursuing excellence in every aspect of the student-athlete experience. I’m proud to see their efforts recognized and grateful to be part of their academic journeys.”
To qualify for first-team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-team selections must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met an NIC “A” time standard in Division I or an NCAA “B” qualifying standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
