COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M men’s golf checked in at No. 16 in the preseason Golf Channel rankings while landing at No. 18 in the Golfweek Preseason Poll, the publications announced Monday.
Entering his seventh season at the helm of the Aggie Men’s Golf program, head coach Brian Kortan is looking to build off last season’s NCAA Championship appearance, as he returns four of the five players from last year’s NCAA Championship lineup in junior Wheaton Ennis, sophomore Shiv Parmar, senior Aaron Pounds and senior Kris Kuvaas.
Texas A&M is one of 12 SEC programs ranked inside the top 25 of the Golfweek preseason rankings and one of 10 SEC teams ranked in the top 20 of the Golf Channel rankins
The Aggies open their 2026-27 campaign at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup September 14-16 in Frisco, Texas. The event is being played at one of the country's premier courses, PGA Frisco.
