No. 2 Aggies Defeat No. 9 Baylor to Conclude Fall Slate, 12-6

WACO – The No. 2 Texas A&M equestrian team defeated No. 9 Baylor 12-6 Friday afternoon at the Willis Family Equestrian Center to conclude its fall schedule.
The Aggies (5-2) took an early 4-1 lead in Flat with points from Brooke Brombach (71), Maggie Nealon (78), Rylee Shufelt (75) and Devon Thomas (80). Nealon earned MOP honors for her ride on Grande, marking her second of the season and ninth of her career.
In Reining, Anna Harris posted a score of 72.5 on Raymond to earn the first MOP award of her career. Lauren Hanson (71) logged the other point for the Maroon & White in the event as they took a 6-3 advantage into the half.
Out of the break, Texas A&M extended its advantage to 9-4 with a 3-1 victory in Fences. Alida Treuting secured her first MOP honor of the season with an 84 on Teddy, while Brombach (82) and Devon Thomas (81) also contributed points for the Aggies.
In Horsemanship, the Maroon & White picked up three more points to seal the 12-6 victory. Kaitlyn Bloom earned her second MOP honor of the year with a 75.5 on Gracie. Hanna Olaussen and Millie Landon also added to the Aggie point total as they each recorded a ride of 74.5.

The Aggies will return to action Saturday, Feb. 1 as they travel to face SMU at the Dallas Equestrian Center.
