No. 2 Texas A&M Falls to No. 5 Georgia

BISHOP, Ga.- The No. 2 Texas A&M equestrian team fell on the road to No. 5 Georgia, 13-7, Saturday afternoon at the UGA Equestrian Complex.
Georgia (6-4, 3-2) jumped out to an early lead over the Aggies (7-2, 4-1) taking Flat 4-1 with Rylee Shufelt picking up the lone point.
In Reining, Mattie Gustin registered a 72 on Bandido to improve her record to 7-1 on the season. Emmy-Lu Marsh scored a 69 to pick up another point for the Aggies. Following Reining, Texas A&M trailed 7-3 at the break.
After the Aggies dropped Fences 5-0, the Maroon & White responded with a 4-1 win in Horsemanship. Cori Cansdale led the way for Texas A&M putting up a 76 on Jerry. Also earning points were Hanna Olaussen (75.5), Millie Landon (74.5) and Ellie Gerbrandt (73.5).
Despite the win in Horsemanship, the Aggies fell 13-7.
