
Texas A&M Selected No. 3 in First 2025 College Football Playoff Ranking

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M lands at No. 3 in the initial 2025 College Football Playoff ranking that was released Tuesday by the College Football Playoff Committee.
Tuesday's ranking is the Aggies' highest mark in the poll and have now been ranked 22 times during the regular season since the CFP's inception in 2014.
Texas A&M is 8-0 for the first time since 1992 when R.C. Slocum's Aggies posted a perfect 12-0 regular season. The Maroon & White are also 5-0 in conference play for the second consecutive year and second time in school history.
The Aggies close out a three-game road swing Saturday when they travel to No. 19 Missouri for a 2:30 p.m. CT kick on ABC.
