Women’s Hoops to Host Teddy Bear Toss at Fan Appreciation Game

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team is encouraging fans to bring new stuffed animals to toss at halftime of the Sunday, Dec. 21 Fan Appreciation Game against Prairie View at 12 p.m.
The noon contest on Sunday is completely free admission and parking for the public. All stuffed animals collected will go to the Boys & Girls Club of the Brazos Valley. Fans can make their way down to the court at halftime and wait for the in-arena cue to toss all stuffed animals onto the court.
The program recently collected well over 200 bikes and helmets at its fourth annual Bike Build. The team donated the bikes to nearly 10 different organizations and schools in the spirit of the holiday season.
Tickets for future games can be purchased at 12thmanfoundation.net. Fans can support the program by joining the Aggie Fast Break Club and by purchasing a women's basketball flex pack for SEC play.
