Women’s Basketball Returns Home for Matchup Versus No. 3 South Carolina

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to take on No. 3 South Carolina Monday night inside Reed Arena at 7 p.m.
The Aggies (8-9, 1-7 SEC) are matching up against their sixth opponent ranked inside the top 10 during the 2025-26 campaign as they take on the Gamecocks. The Maroon & White are led by Ny'Ceara Pryor who stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals versus Oklahoma. She remains the only player in the nation ranked in the top 10 in assists per game (6.9) and steals per game (3.7).
Lauren Ware paced the Aggies' scoring efforts against the Sooners by matching her season high of 15 points, shooting 6-of-8 from the field to go with a team-high seven rebounds. Fatmata Janneh also chimed in with 10 points, marking her 10th double-digit scoring performance of the season and 51st of her career.
South Carolina (21-2, 7-1 SEC) is 7-1 on the road this year, coming off an 81-51 win at Auburn. The Gamecocks are led by Joyce Edwards who is averaging 20.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
