BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M volleyball head coach Jamie Morrison announced the addition of Joe Skinner to his staff as director of analytics Wednesday.
"I believe in surrounding our athletes with good people, and Joe [Skinner] fits that mold perfectly," Morrison said. "He is one of the best minds in volleyball and proved that with the time he spent around our program last season."
Skinner brings 14 years of NCAA volleyball experience to Aggieland, including his most recent stint which was with the Maroon & White during the 2024 campaign. He returns to the staff in a full-time role after playing an integral part of the Aggies' trip to the Sweet 16.
"I'm really excited to be back with such a talented volleyball program," Skinner said. "I had an incredible experience with the team last year and I'm extremely grateful to Jamie and the entire staff for giving me this opportunity to return to the program and continue to help this team do amazing things."
Prior to spending last season with the Maroon & White, Skinner was gaining international experience as an assistant coach for the United States men's sitting national team. He also served stints at Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma, California State and Oregon in a variety of roles.
