Texas A&M Softball Tabbed No. 1 Overall Seed in NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS – The Texas A&M softball team has been tabbed the No. 1 national seed in the NCAA Division I Softball Tournament and is set to host the Bryan-College Station Regional beginning Friday, May 17 at Davis Diamond. It marks the first time in program history to be declared the top overall seed.
Texas A&M (45-9) is making its 35th appearance and 23rd-straight appearance in the tournament, the seventh longest active streak in the NCAA. It marks the 17th time to host a regional in program history and the first in consecutive seasons since the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The Maroon & White boasts a 35-8 record when hosting the regional round.
The Aggies host Saint Francis at 2:30 p.m. in front of a nationally televised broadcast on the SEC Network, while All Aggie softball games can be heard on the 12th Man Mobile app or locally on Willy 1550 AM with Matt Simon as the play-by-play voice in his 11th season with Texas A&M softball.
