Khirin and Stoiana Land All-America Honors

GILBERT, Ariz. – Texas A&M standouts Nicole Khirin and Mary Stoiana claimed ITA All-American honors for the 2024-25 season, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced.
With three routes to gain All-America recognition, both Aggies doubled down by earning it two ways. They each reached the round of 16 of the NCAA Individual Championships in singles and they both finished in the top 20 of the final ITA Singles Rankings. Khirin advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships and rose to No. 11 in the final ITA Rankings. Stoiana reached the round of 16 and finished the season ranked No. 2.
Stoiana nabbed ITA All-American status for the fifth time, including the third time in singles. In 2023 and '24 she earned the honor in both singles and doubles. Khirin made her debut on the All-America list.
Khirin paced the Aggies in total wins (59), singles wins (32) and doubles wins (27). She registered a 32-8 mark in singles play, including 4-1 at No. 1 and 16-4 at No. 2. The junior boasted a 16-8 record against ranked foes and logged a 20-5 dual mark, including 7-3 in the SEC. Khirin was 27-7 in doubles matches, including 21-5 in dual play and 9-2 in SEC action.
During the 2024-25 season, Stoiana stood out among the nation's best, including spending multiple weeks at No. 1 on the ITA National Rankings. She registered a 28-6 overall mark, including a 20-4 record in dual action and 10-1 in SEC play. Stoiana ended the season ranked No. 2 and posted a 23-6 record against other ranked players.
The tandem helped Texas A&M register a 30-4 overall record and won its fourth consecutive SEC title with a 14-1 league ledger. The Aggies finished as runner-up at the SEC Championship and the NCAA Championship.
