Aggies Gear up for USATF Championships

EUGENE – The Texas A&M track & field team will be represented by a group of 15 split between current student-athletes and pros at the USA Track & Field Championships, July 31-Aug. 3, at Hayward Field.
The Aggies' group is made up of a star-studded field of 10 pros and five student-athletes who were on the 2025 roster. The pro field is highlighted by four Olympians, including two-time Olympic Champion and four-time medalist Bryce Deadmon, two-time Olympic Champion Athing Mu, two-time medalist Fred Kerley and Brandon Miller. The group also includes World Champion Donavan Brazier who's recovered from an injury which sidelined him since the 2022 season.
A&M's collegiate group features five All-Americans from the 2025 season, including Ja'Qualon Scott, Jasmine Montgomery, Cooper Cawthra, Bryce McCray and Kennedy Wade. This field during this year's campaign accounted for eight broken school records, eight conference medals and 10 All-America honors. Scott, McCray and Cawthra also played key roles in the Maroon & White's 10th NCAA team title and first SEC indoor title.
The championships are set as the qualifying meet for the World Athletic Championships held at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo, Sept. 13-21. Athletes who finish in the top three of their respective events at the meet in Oregon will represent the United States on the world stage.
