200 Free Relay, Oakley Earn All-America Finishes at NCAAs

ATLANTA – All-America finishes by the 200-yard freestyle relay and diver Joslyn Oakley highlighted Texas A&M's second day at the 2026 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championship on Thursday at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the Georgia Tech campus.
The Aggies made some noise in the morning session as the relay foursome of fifth-year senior Kaitlyn Owens, sophomore Ella McQuinn, freshman Eloise Williamson and freshman Reagan Sherrard threw down a season-best time of 1:27.82, which earned a 12th place finish. The time moved the foursome to No. 3 on the Aggies' all-time top 10 list.
Oakley, a senior from Mooresville, North Carolina, earned the fifth All-America citation of her career with a 15th place effort in the 1m springboard dive. Oakley scored 269.70 with her six-dive list, which included her best score of 48.75 on her sixth and final dive.
In other action, junior Ava Whitaker posted her lifetime best of 51.89 in a 28th place finish in the 100 butterfly. The time moved her to eighth on the school's top 10 list in the race. Junior Hannah O'Leary placed 34th in the 400 IM in 4:12.45, and McQuinn finished 30th in the 100 breaststroke in 59.91.
