Texas A&M Hosts 100-plus Divers for NCAA Zone D Championships

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M hosts the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships Monday through Wednesday at the Rec Center Natatorium as more than 100 competitors converge on Aggieland looking to punch their tickets to the 2026 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
The Aggies will be represented by 10 divers at the Zone meet – senior Joslyn Oakley, junior Chloe McKnight and sophomores Gabby Filzen, Bridget Foster and Julie Moons from the women's team and senior Matt Aigner, sophomores Jaxon Bowshire, Charles Reuter and Nathan Stone and freshman Emilio Trevino from the men's squad.
Trevino competes in all three events at Zones after qualifying on the 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform. Trevino is coming off a successful SEC Championships performance highlighted by a fourth-place finish on the platform with a score of 399.05. Earlier this season, he posted season-best marks of 359.78 on the 1-meter and 405.00 on the 3-meter at the Alabama dual meet, along with a platform score of 426.40 at the Texas Diving Invite.
Bowshire, the 2025 NCAA runner-up on the platform, competes in the platform and the 1m dive after placing 10th in the platform dive and 18th on the 1m board at the SEC Championships. Bowshire hit a season-high of 341.85 in the 1m vs. TCU and 386.33 in the platform against Texas.
Aigner, Reuter and Stone will also be in action at Zones as Aigner qualified in all three events, while Reuter earned a spot on the 3-meter and platform and Stone qualified on the 1-meter and 3-meter. Aigner posted season-best scores of 311.85 on the 1-meter, 366.15 on the 3-meter and 367.73 on platform during the regular season. Reuter recorded season-best marks of 357.90 on the 3-meter and 322.50 on platform, while Stone added season-best scores of 307.25 on the 1-meter and 362.25 on the 3-meter.
On the women's side, Filzen qualified in all three events and is coming off a strong SEC Championships showing highlighted by a fifth-place finish on platform with a score of 277.30. Filzen also posted a 15th-place finish on the 1-meter at SECs with a score of 244.10 and holds a season-best score of 289.73 on the 3-meter. Oakley will also look to build off her performance on the 1-meter at SECs where she placed sixth overall with a score of 289.60. She is also qualified on the 3-meter where she holds a season-best score of 330.23.
Foster, Moons and McKnight will also look to advance to NCAAs at Zones as Foster and Moons qualified on both springboards and McKnight earned a spot on platform. Foster is coming off a strong showing at SEC Championships after placing 12th on the 1-meter with a score of 272.05 and 14th on the 3-meter with a score of 274.50. Moons posted season-best scores of 296.40 on the 1-meter and 298.05 on the 3-meter earlier this season, while McKnight recorded a season-best platform score of 285.38 at TCU and added a 14th-place finish on the event at SEC Championships.
