Aggies Down Georgia, Advance to NCEA Championship Final

OCALA, Fla. – The No. 2 seed Texas A&M equestrian team advanced to the NCEA National Championship Final for the first time since 2022 with a 12-6 victory over No. 3 seed Georgia in semifinal action Thursday afternoon at the World Equestrian Center.
The Aggies (9-5) opened the meet with a 3-1 win in Reining, led by scoring rides from Gracie Casebolt (71.7), Isabelle Gonzalez (72.8) and Mattie Gustin (72.8).
The Maroon & White extended their lead in Fences, taking the event 2-1 behind winning rides from Kate Egan (83.7) and Grace Shipman (65.3) to carry a 5-2 advantage into the break.
Following the half, Texas A&M added three more points in Flat. Egan (88.3), Nicole McMillion and Devan Thomas (85) all secured victories, with McMillion's ride of 87.7 on Major marking a new personal-best.
The Aggies capped the meet by completing a sweep of all four events with a 4-1 victory in Horsemanship. Ady Kallay led the charge with a new personal-best of 77 on Winston, tying the team's season high. Kaitlyn Bloom (75.7), Meagan Braun (76) and Kendall Dirksen (76) also contributed points to seal the victory and send Texas A&M into the final.
