Apr 28, 2026 | Volleyball
COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M volleyball team announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a competitive mix of non-conference tournaments and a full SEC slate as the defending national champions prepare for another exciting season.
"I'm excited about the schedule we've put together for the upcoming season," head coach Jamie Morrison said. "We prioritized adding a number of competitive non-conference matches that would test us early and get us ready for SEC play. We've got a brand-new group for this year, but I think we're ready for the challenge and we can't wait to get started."
The Aggies kick off the 2026 volleyball season, as they travel to the AVCA First Serve event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where they face Louisville (Aug. 21) before taking on SMU (Aug. 23).
The Maroon & White then return to Aggieland for the Texas A&M Invitational, where they host Grand Canyon and Arkansas State for a doubleheader on Aug. 28 followed by a matchup with Cal Poly the following day (Aug. 29).
A&M gears up for a trio of inter-conference contests for both the Big 10/SEC and ACC/SEC challenges. The Aggies first head to West Lafayette and the home of the Boilermakers for a two-game series versus Purdue (Sept. 1) and Indiana (Sept. 2). The group then jets off to Florida to face Stanford in Shriner Children's 'Showdown at the Net' at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex on Sept. 9.
The Aggies return home for a showdown between two Final Four teams, as Wisconsin visits Reed Arena on Sept. 11 before SFA (Sept. 15) and Rice (Sept. 22) close out non-league action in Aggieland.
One final road trip rounds out a standout non-conference slate, as the Maroon & White head to Omaha to face the Creighton Bluejays on Sept. 20.
SEC play begins as Texas A&M hosts South Carolina on Sep. 27. The Aggies remain home the following week for matches against Alabama on Oct. 2 and Mississippi State on Oct. 4, before hitting the road to face Oklahoma and Arkansas the following week.
The remainder of the conference schedule features a balanced mix of home and away contests. The Aggies host Florida (Oct. 16), Auburn (Oct. 18), Tennessee (Oct. 30), LSU (Nov. 13) and Ole Miss (Nov. 15). They travel to compete against Georgia (Oct. 23), Kentucky (Oct. 25), Texas (Nov. 1), Vanderbilt (Nov. 6) and Missouri (Nov. 8).
The Aggies open postseason action for the second-straight year at the SEC Tournament held in Savannah, Georgia, Nov. 20-24.
