GILBERT, Ariz. – Texas A&M standout Lucciana Perez claimed ITA All-American recognition for the 2025-26 season, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced.
The announcement came on the heels of Perez being named a finalist for the Honda Award for women's tennis, the Collegiate Women Sports Awards Tuesday.
The Lima, Peru, native earned All-American status by ending the season in the top 20 of the ITA Singles Rankings. Perez wrapped up the campaign as the No. 1 player in the nation. She joined Mary Stoiana as the only Aggies to reach the peak.
Perez finished one of the best athletics seasons in Texas A&M history. She helped the Aggies claim their second NCAA women's tennis title in the last three years along with winning their fifth consecutive SEC regular-season crown.
The junior was named the SEC Player of the Year following Texas A&M's first-ever undefeated season. She posted a 28-0 singles record, including a 13-0 record in SEC regular season matches. Perez logged a 7-0 record in matches against ITA top 10 opponents.
