ORLANDO – Texas A&M's Vanessa Borovilos and Cayetana Fernández García-Poggio were named Golfweek All-Americans, the outlet announced Wednesday.
Borovilos earned second team distinction after her 2025-26 campaign. The sophomore recorded the second lowest stroke average in program history this year at 71.04 and was also an ANNIKA Award Finalist. This marks her second All-America recognition after being tabbed as a WGCA First Team All-American last week.
Borovilos ended the season ranked No. 13 on the Clippd Individual Rankings and No. 17 on the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR). The Canadian was selected to the All-SEC First Team and won two tournament titles, along with six top three outings.
Fernández García-Poggio was named to the third team for the second-straight year after an All-SEC First Team season by the junior. The Spaniard posted a 71.34 stroke average and was ranked No. 25 on Clippd and No. 41 on the WAGR. Fernández García-Poggio won the Carmel Cup this season and had six top 10 finishes.
The two All-Americans will compete at the Palmer Cup July 3-5 at the Tralee Golf Links in West Barrow, Ireland, for Team International.
