Women’s Basketball to Play Cal in SEC-ACC Challenge

BRISTOL, Conn. – Texas A&M women's basketball will face off against Cal on the road Dec. 3 as part of the 2026 SEC-ACC Challenge, ESPN announced Friday.
Texas A&M is one of three teams to have a perfect 3-0 record in the challenge since its start during the 2023-24 campaign. The Aggies have the best win differential among teams in both leagues at 15.0 points per game in the challenge.
The Maroon & White are adding the No. 22 recruiting class in the country and four SEC veteran transfers to the 2026-27 roster to compliment the Aggie returners. Texas A&M ended last season as one of the hottest teams in the country, winning six of its last seven regular season games and five straight going into the postseason. Of those six wins, three were ranked victories with two being on the road.

Texas A&M is 4-1 all-time versus Cal and the two programs last met Nov. 25, 2023, when the Aggies marched into Berkeley, California, and secured a 65-41 victory over the Golden Bears.
