CREDENTIAL INFO/POLICIES
CREDENTIALS
- Media credentials should be requested via email through Assistant Communications Director Brandon Collins.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
- Photo credentials should be requested in the same manner as regular media credentials. Photographers will be placed along both ends of the court where space permits. Photo credentials will be issued according to the following protocol:
- 1. Local newspapers, wire services, national publications, local TV stations and newspapers and television stations regularly covering the opponent.
- 2. Other daily newspapers and television stations with preference to those covering A&M on a regular basis.
- 3. Non-daily newspapers and other publications with a preference to those covering A&M on a regular basis.
POST-GAME STAND-UPS
- TV standups on court will be permitted 10 minutes after the team leaves the court.
MEDIA ENTRANCE
- Media will enter the arena as they always have through the loading dock. Media will be allowed to enter the designated seating through both sides of the tunnel inside of the loading dock entrance.
PARKING
- Parking is free of charge for most every women's basketball game unless there is a direct conflict with a baseball home game. Media members are encouraged to park at the top of the loading dock on the West side Reed Arena and walk down to the loading dock entrance.
INTERNET ACCESS
- Wireless internet access is available throughout the arena. Access to the wireless internet requires a password, which can be obtained from a member of the TAMU Athletics Communications staff.
PREGAME MEALS
- Complimentary pregame meals will be served in the media work room. Bottled water will be available as well.
PRESS SEATING
- Media seating will be provided, and a seating chart will be available to reference on gameday. If you have any questions you may contact Brandon Collins via text or email.
INTERVIEW POLICY
- ALL interviews must be requested with a minimum 24-hour notice. For best results, interviews will be conducted via zoom or in-person.
COACH TAYLOR MEDIA AVAILABILITY
- Head Coach Joni Taylor will hold media availability on a designated day each week throughout the season. This date and time will be communicated to media members. Players will be made available as well at the discretion of Coach Taylor and the Athletics Communications staff.
PRACTICE
- Practices will be made open at the discretion of the team and communications staff. Those openings will be communicated to the media prior to 24 hours of the practice time.
E-MAIL RELEASES
- Athletic Communications will send out press releases announcing important news pertaining to the Women's Basketball program. To receive these releases via electronic mail, members of the media can send an e-mail message to Brandon Collins. The releases are also posted on 12thMan.com in text format.
PHOTOS VIA E-MAIL
- Members of the media can receive high resolution digital images of Texas A&M’s coaches and players via electronic mail by contacting Brandon Collins.
PRESS CONFERENCE DOWNLOADS
- Members of the media will have the ability to download high-resolution video of Texas A&M's press conferences (pregame and postgame). Contact Brandon Collins for the URL.
