2023: Indoor - Placed sixth at the Howie Ryan Invitational with a throw of 51-11.75/15.84m.
2022: Indoor - Opened season at the Ted Nelson Invite, placing fourth in the shot put with a throw of 47-10.5/14.59m... Competed at the Aggie Invite, throwing 51-7/15.72m to finish fifth. Outdoor - Earned a fifth place finish at the Texas A&M vs Texas Dual meet with a throw of 52-1.75/15.89m... Threw a personal best of 54-6.75/16.63m at the 44 Farms Team Invite... Competed at the Michael Johnson Invite (54-1.75/16.50m) and ended his season at the Alumni Muster (53-5.5/16.29m).
2021: Indoor - Did not compete. Outdoor - Competed in one meet, placed fifth in shot put (43-8.5/13.32m) at the Texas vs. Texas A&M Dual meet.
High School: Lettered all four years in track & field and football...As a junior he won the TAPPS Division 4 state title in shot put and placed second in discus...Was a member of the state championship football team as a senior, also was all-state playing classical guitar...Earned All-State linebacker honors in his junior and senior season...Was an active member of the shooting club for muscle dystrophy...Personal best: Shot Put - 55 feet, Discus - 175 feet.
Personal: Son of Donnie and Kelly Hohne...Has one older sister, Katie, and one older brother, Caleb...Sister Katie graduated from Texas A&M in 2016...Plans to major in construction science.

Chose Texas A&M because he's always wanted to come to Aggieland.
