SENIOR (2016-17): Earned First Team NCEA All-America honors … Named to the NCEA All-Championship Horsemanship Team … Voted to the All-SEC Horsemanship team … Selected as the November SEC Rider of the Month … Awarded the NCEA Shorty’s Horsemanship Rider of the Month in November and March … Named to the American Quarter Horse Association NCEA Academic First Team … Concluded her final season with a team-best 15-3 record and was MOP at five meets … Went undefeated at the NCEA Championship … Earned a victory at the SEC Championship against Auburn where she was also named MOP … Scored a season-high 76 against Georgia and was named MOP … Compiled a 7-2 record against SEC competitors … Named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.
JUNIOR (2015-16): Recorded a 10-5-2 mark in Horsemanship with two MOPs … Earned MOP honors against New Mexico State (Oct. 23) and SMU (March 5) … Won both of her points at the SEC Championships … Went 7-2-1 against SEC competitors … Scored a season-high 76 against Georgia on Jan. 30 … Named to the NCEA’s Beval Saddlery Academic First Team and Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll.
SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Led the horsemanship squad with a 10-3-2 record … opened the season 8-0 with victories over five ranked opponents … Took home MOP honors after victories against SMU (73.5-71.5) and Auburn (73.5-72.5) … Averaged a 73.09 in her second season competing as an Aggie … Earned a place on the NCEA Academic second team … Named to the horsemanship All-SEC team … Earned first All-America accolades after being named to the NCEA All-America second team.
FRESHMAN (2013-2014): Did not see any action during the season… As she prepared in the summer for her first year at A&M, garnered two top 10 finishes at the American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA) World Show...Placed in western riding and trail riding with her competition horse, Sue Zee Zip.
PERSONAL
Kaci Fisher is the daughter of Buddy and Torey Fisher of Abilene, Texas… born November 17, 1994… has one sister, Kalee… Has tie to several Aggies including her father, Buddy, uncle Robbie, and her aunt, Trena Roberts… Majoring in Kinesiology … a 2013 graduate of Abilene High… participated in tennis alongside equestrian in high school… trains with her father, Buddy Fisher… recent honors include top 10 finishes at the American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Show in Western Riding and Trail, and a top 20 finish in horsemanship... even when she’s not practicing with the team, enjoys riding in her spare time.
