Burst on to the collegiate scene with a 10-3 record in the horsemanship discipline as a true freshman ... was named the team’s Western Rookie of the Year ... her 10 horsemanship victories was second on the squad ... had two MVP honors ... opened her career with an impressive 74-64.5 win over Oklahoma State’s Mamie Tomlin in Stillwater (Nov. 8) ... would go on to score points in four of the Aggies’ next five competitions, defeating TCU’s Kelly Morris (72.5-72, Nov. 15), South Carolina’s Maggie Fortune (69.5-67, Jan. 31), Baylor’s Nicole McCoy (75.5-74, Feb. 7) and Kansas State’s Mikaela Sundgren (74.5-73, Feb. 20) ... win over the Gamecocks’ Fortune earned MVP honors for the first time in her career ... one of just three Aggies to win all five rides in postseason action, helping A&M to the western national title ... was named MVP in the Big 12 semifinals after a 148-143 victory over OSU’s Nichole Chirico (March 27) ... defeated Laura Browne of K-State, 144.5-141.5, in the third-place match (March 28) ... at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships, picked up wins over New Mexico State’s Tonna Brooks, 144.5-141, in the quarterfinals (April 16) and OSU’s Courtney Whitacre, 145.5-132.5, in the semifinals (April 17) ... rode to a 150.5-148.5 victory over Ashley Aikman of TCU in the national championship show (April 18) ... regular-season score average was 71.94 ... postseason average was 146.60 ... season-best win streak was five to close out the year.

Kathryn Anne Lisabeth is the daughter of David and Debbie Lisabeth of Canton, Georgia ... born June 15, 1990 in Evansville, Indiana ... has an older sister, Casie, and two older brothers, Kyle and Ryan ... animal science major ... enjoys showing, shopping, and hanging out with friends ... plans on training and showing horses after graduation ... sister, Casie, is a former team member who is now the western coach at Kansas State ... chose A&M for the environment, school spirit and coaches ... 2008 graduate of Bradenton Preparatory Academy in Bradenton, Florida ... has been riding all her life, mostly western all-around ... trainer is Robin Frid ... finished sixth in trail and eighth in horsemanship at the 2008 AQHYA world show ... is the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Congress champion in western riding and has AQHA Superior ratings in horsemanship, showmanship, trail and western riding ... won 2008 AQHA Circuit Championships at the Texas Classic, Gold Coast (Fla.), and Silver Dollar Circuit (Las Vegas) ... placed third in horsemanship and fifth in western riding at the 2009 AQHYA World Show in Oklahoma City.
