Evan Kubicek joined the strength and conditioning staff at Texas A&M in the Spring of 2021. Evan is responsible for the strength training for the track & field and cross country teams. He previously was responsible for the strength training for the Aggies' equestrian program.

Kubicek came to Aggieland from the University of Oklahoma where he spent six years as the strength and conditioning coach for both men’s and women’s track & field. Prior to Oklahoma, he worked as an intern coach at Rice University with a number of teams including men’s basketball, baseball, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s track & field.

A native of Columbus, Texas, Kubicek is a 2013 graduate of Texas State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science and a Master of Science in Exercise Science. He also holds a Master of Education in Intercollegiate Athletics Administration from the University of Oklahoma, earned in 2017. Evan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and USTFCCCA.

Evan and his wife, Stephanie, have a son, Jack. Kubicek's hobbies include spending time with family, outdoor activities and drinking good coffee.
