High School/Personal: Coached by Nancy Almaraz and lettered all four years at Johnson High School…Was a three-time UIL 6A – District 27 champion in the 1,600m (2017, ’18, ’19), was also the 800m champion as a sophomore and junior...Was a two-time state qualifier in the 800m, placed ninth as a sophomore and finished third as a junior…Set school records in the 1,600m (4:10.81) and 3,200m (9:43.80)…Was named to the 2018 and 2019 Academic All-District team…Personal bests: 800m – 1:52.57; 1,600m – 4:10.81; 3,200m – 9:43.80...Competed in AAU track for the San Antonio Junior Jags under the guidance of Joe Koch for three years…Plans to major in engineering.
