Nov 05, 2015 | Equestrian
College Station, Texas— The No. 5 Texas A&M equestrian team is set to host the undefeated No. 2 Auburn Tigers this Friday, Nov. 6 in the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
The Aggies (3-1) come off of a win in their home opener against then No. 4 South Carolina. Texas A&M defeated the Gamecocks 14-5, winning or tying all four disciplines to run away with the win. Three Aggie riders took home MVP honors: sophomore Alex Desiderio (fences), junior Rachel Lucht (horsemanship), and senior Logan Pluhar (reining).
The Auburn Tigers (3-0) will travel to College Station looking to continue their undefeated 2015 campaign. Auburn's last meet was on Oct. 17, a 14-5 win of their own against Oklahoma State.
Fans can expect to stay dry during the meet despite a possibility of rain in the forecast as the Hildebrand Equine Complex is a covered venue. Entrance into the event is free of charge.
