No. 18 Texas A&M starts a rare back-to-back on Tuesday, November 28, hosting Prairie View A&M in a women's basketball game at Reed Arena. The Aggies are coming off of a dominating, 90-56 win at Texas Tech on Sunday.
The game is broadcast by SEC Network +, with Will Johnson and Tap Bentz on the call. Authenticated subscribers can access the game through WatchESPN and the ESPN app on their mobile phones, tablets, smart TVs, computers and other connected devices. Tom Turbiville and Bret Dark bring listeners in the Bryan-College Station area the radio call on The Zone 1150 AM/102.7 FM, and on the internet at 12thman.com.
The Aggies are hosting two games on back-to-back days at Reed Arena this week, for the first time since December 2005, when the Aggies beat Dartmouth and Eastern Washington. Former conference foe Rice visits on Wednesday, marking only the second time in the Gary Blair era that the Aggies have played home games on consecutive days.
Chennedy Carter has led a Texas A&M attack that contains numerous scoring options, as four Aggies have scored in double figures in every game so far. Carter, who leads all freshmen nationally with 20.6 points per game, scored 30 points at Texas Tech on Sunday, the most ever for a Texas A&M freshman in a single game.
Shala Dobbins leads the Lady Panthers with 22.2 points per game, one of three Prairie View A&M players in double figures for the season. The Lady Panthers have dropped three straight games, after starting the season with back-to-back wins.
After this game, the Aggies return to action by hosting Rice at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, with broadcast on SEC Network +.
