
No. 4 Texas A&M Closes Out Regular Season Against No. 9 TCU

COLLEGE STATION – The No. 4 Texas A&M Equestrian team wraps up the regular season Saturday at 11 a.m. with a matchup against No. 9 TCU at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. Admission to the meet is free.
The Aggies (7-4, 3-3 SEC) are looking to rebound after a 12-7 loss to then-No. 4 Auburn on March 4. Junior Rachael Hake earned both points in Equitation on the Flat and Equitation over Fences. In Horsemanship, junior Avery Ellis and senior Kaci Fisher recorded their team-high ninth win of the season. Junior Madison Bohman captured her fourth MOP honor in Reining.
TCU (5-7, 0-4 Big 12) is coming off of a 9-7 defeat at New Mexico State on Feb. 25. The Horned Frogs are led by Carly Lombard in Reining, who holds a 7-4-1 record. In Horsemanship, Megan McMullen paces TCU with a 7-4 mark. Kari Hancock and Jayme Omand lead Equitation on the Flat and Equitation over Fences, respectively, with seven wins.
The meet will be the ninth in series history as Texas A&M leads 6-2. The two squads last met in 2013, in which TCU won 14-6.
Following the conclusion of the meet, the Aggies will honor their nine seniors.
