Women’s Basketball Seeks 900th Win Sunday

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team takes on the Western Michigan Bronocos Sunday inside Reed Arena at 2 p.m.
With a win, the Aggies (1-1) would secure the 900th victory in program history. The Maroon & White rebounded from its season-opening loss with a defensive triumph over UTSA, 55-51, Thursday.
Sahara Jones led the way with 16 points and Lauren Ware led the team in assists for the second straight game from the front court. The Aggies are No. 14 in the country in blocks per game (8.5) with Ware leading the way at 3.5 swats per contest.
