DALLAS – Texas A&M standouts KC Concepcion, Mario Craver and Cashius Howell earned Football Writers Association of America All-America Team honors, the FWAA announced Thursday. Concepcion and Howell were named first team selections, while Craver received second team recognition.
Concepcion, a junior wide receiver from Charlotte, North Carolina, earned all-purpose first team honors after one of the most dynamic all-around seasons in the nation. A First Team All-SEC selection at wide receiver, return specialist and all-purpose, Concepcion led the SEC and ranked second nationally with 460 punt return yards while finishing third in the FBS with five punt returns of 30 yards or longer and third nationally with a 20.0-yard return average. He paces the Aggies with 57 receptions for 886 yards and is tied for an SEC-best nine receiving touchdowns, while leading all SEC receivers with 12 total touchdowns. Concepcion became the first Texas A&M player in the modern era to score via rush, reception and punt return in the same season, ranked No. 14 nationally with 1,409 all-purpose yards, averaged 117.4 yards per game and was named the Paul Hornung Award winner.
Howell, a redshirt senior from Kansas City, Missouri, earned defensive end first team recognition after emerging as the SEC's most dominant pass rusher during the 2025 season. The SEC Defensive Player of the Year led the league with 11.5 sacks and ranked fourth in the conference with 14.0 tackles for loss, becoming the first Aggie to earn the league's top defensive honor. His sack total marked the highest by a Texas A&M player since Myles Garrett posted 11.5 in 2014. Howell generated 41 quarterback pressures, according to Pro Football Focus, including at least three pressures in seven of 12 regular-season games, and ranked second nationally among defensive ends with six pass breakups. Making an impact across the defense, he finished the regular season with 29 tackles, including 19 solo stops, and was a finalist for the Chuck Bednarik, Bronko Nagurski and Lombardi awards.
Craver, a sophomore wide receiver from Birmingham, Alabama, earned wide receiver second team recognition following one of the most productive offensive seasons in the SEC. Craver leads the Aggies with an average of 82.4 scrimmage yards per game and is averaging 14.4 yards per offensive touch. He has totaled 52 receptions for 825 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 81 rushing yards and a score on 11 carries. Craver is the nation's only player in 2025 to record a 200-yard receiving performance against an Associated Press Top 25 opponent, hauling in seven catches for 207 yards in Texas A&M's 41-40 road victory at then-No. 8 Notre Dame. He was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, presented annually to the nation's top receiver.
No. 7-seed Texas A&M hosts the No. 10 Miami Hurricanes (10-2) in a CFP first round game at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20 at Kyle Field.
