No. 4 Aggies Fall to No. 1 Auburn

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 4 Texas A&M equestrian team dropped its regular season finale to No. 1 Auburn, 11-9, Saturday afternoon at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
The Aggies (7-6, 2-4) faced an early 3-2 deficit in Flat despite earning points from Grace Shipman (83.5) and Devon Thomas (86). In Horsemanship, Meagan Braun (73.5) and Hanna Olaussen (76) picked up a pair of points for the Maroon & White as they trailed the Tigers (11-2, 5-1) 6-4 at the half.
After the break, Texas A&M closed the gap to 8-7 behind points from Gracie Casebolt (71), Mattie Gustin (72), Lauren Hanson (69.75) and Anna Harris (69.5) in Reining. Gustin earned her third MOP honor of the season and sixth of her career for her ride on Tank.
In Fences, Alexa Leong recorded the lone point for the Maroon & White as they fell 11-9.
Following the meet, seniors Skyler Allen, Brooke Brombach, Claire Campbell, Emma Cress, Ellie Gerbrandt, Mattie Gustin, Lauren Hanson, Millie Landon, Maeve O'Donovan, Hanna Olaussen, Grace Platt and Rylee Shufelt were recognized for their contributions to the program.
