POSTGAME QUOTES
Senior Ny'Ceara Pryor on the Aggies' scoring efforts…
"It was nice to see; it's a testament to the work that we put in day in and day out. Win, lose or draw we are in the gym, and it showed tonight."
Graduate Lauren Ware on what separated the Aggies from Auburn…
"We started pushing more in transition, they were hitting shots in the beginning, so it was hard to run on them, but they did not press us like they usually do. Once we started getting more stops on defense, we were able to push the ball on offense."
Head Coach Joni Taylor on the team following the gameplan…
"Our gameplan was to protect the paint because they are so good at getting the ball to the basket. We told our players to trust it, and to their credit, they did defensively. I thought our defense just continued to get better as the quarters went on. Offensively, I thought the ball moved and had good pop."
