Women’s Basketball Hosts Arkansas for Senior Day

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team returns to Reed Arena on Sunday to host Arkansas on Senior Day at 2 p.m.
The Aggies (11-11, 4-9 SEC) look to continue building momentum after a dominant road victory over No. 21 Tennessee where Ny'Ceara Pryor and Fatmata Janneh each recorded double-doubles. Pryor paced the offense with 22 points and 10 assists to go along with five steals; while Janneh recorded 17 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.
Salese Blow continues to be the hot hand for the Maroon & White off the bench, averaging 9.5 points over the last two games which has helped the Aggies cross the 80+ point plateau in their victories over Auburn and the Lady Vols.
Seniors that will be honored during pregame festivities are Lemyah Hylton, Lauren Ware, Jordan Webster and Pryor. Texas A&M has won three of its last four games, including two ranked victories.
Arkansas (11-17, 0-13 SEC) is coming off a 93-62 loss at home to Texas. The Razorbacks are 1-8 on the road this season and are led by Taleyah Jones who is averaging 17.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
