Eight Aggies Named to 2026 Preseason Dave Campbell’s All-Texas College Team

COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M placed eight student-athletes on Dave Campbell's Texas Football's Preseason All-Texas College Team, the organization announced.
Wide receiver Mario Craver, offensive lineman Wilkin Formby, linebacker Ray Coney and safety Marcus Ratcliffe earned first-team honors, while offensive lineman Mark Nabou Jr., running back Rueben Owens II, cornerback Rickey Gibson III and defensive end Anto Saka were named to the second team.
Craver enters the 2026 season following a standout junior campaign in which he earned FWAA All-America Second Team honors, All-SEC Third Team recognition and Biletnikoff Award semifinalist accolades. He ranked sixth in the SEC with 917 receiving yards on 59 receptions and four touchdowns, while adding 81 rushing yards and one score on 11 carries. Craver recorded three 100-plus yard receiving performances, including the program's first 200-yard receiving game on the road at Notre Dame. His 207 receiving yards and 86-yard touchdown reception against the Fighting Irish were FBS highs against an Associated Press Top 25 opponent in 2025.
Ratcliffe returns for his third season in Aggieland after finishing seventh among SEC safeties with 65 tackles in 2025 while adding three pass breakups. He recorded a season-high eight tackles against Notre Dame and Mississippi State and posted at least five tackles in eight games. According to Pro Football Focus, Ratcliffe earned an 80.3 defensive grade, ranking sixth among SEC safeties.
Formby, a graduate transfer from Alabama, enters the season ranked No. 4 among offensive tackle newcomers. In 2025, he appeared in all 15 games with 14 starts for the Crimson Tide and was flagged just twice across 816 snaps. According to Pro Football Focus, Formby ranked third among SEC offensive linemen with an 82.1 pass-blocking grade among players with at least 500 pass-blocking snaps. The Tuscaloosa, Alabama, native has appeared in 27 career games with 16 starts and logged 1,121 career snaps.
Coney joined Texas A&M following a standout 2025 season at Tulsa, where he started all 12 games and served as a team captain. He led the Golden Hurricane with a career-high 129 tackles, a total that paced the American Conference and ranked in the top 10 nationally. Coney also led Tulsa with 7.0 tackles for loss and added 2.0 sacks, one forced fumble, two pass breakups and a team-high four quarterback hurries. He earned First Team All-Conference honors at the end of the year.
Nabou Jr. returns for his graduate season after starting 12 games along the offensive line in 2025. The Lynnwood, Washington, native helped anchor an offensive line that ranked third nationally in tackles for loss allowed (3.31), ninth in fourth-down conversion percentage (.706), 19th in scoring offense (33.8) and 23rd in total offense (444.5). Nabou has made 21 career starts, primarily at center.
Saka, a graduate transfer from Northwestern, has appeared in 33 career games with 11 starts. The Baltimore, Maryland, native has totaled 14.0 career tackles for loss and 12.0 sacks. In 2025, he started all 11 games he played, recording 30 pressures across 196 pass-rush snaps and totaling 4.0 sacks over a three-game span. According to Pro Football Focus, Saka earned an 84.1 pass-rush grade, ranking seventh in the Big Ten among players with at least 175 pass-rush snaps.
Owens II led the Aggies with 639 rushing yards on 119 carries and five touchdowns in 2025, while adding 130 receiving yards on 13 receptions. The El Campo, Texas, native made five starts, all against SEC opponents, and recorded two 100-plus yard rushing performances with 142 yards against Mississippi State and 102 yards against Missouri.
Gibson III transferred to Texas A&M after three seasons at Tennessee, where he appeared in 26 career games with 14 starts, recording 42 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, six pass breakups and one forced fumble. He enjoyed a breakout sophomore season in 2024, his first year as a full-time starter, totaling 32 tackles, two tackles for loss, five pass breakups and one forced fumble across 12 starts. Gibson played 19 snaps in 2025 before sitting out the remainder of the season due to injury.
Texas A&M opens the 2026 season against Missouri State on Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. at Kyle Field. The game will air on ESPN.
