A state licensed and nationally certified athletic trainer, Saul M. Luna is responsible for the prevention and care of injuries for the Aggie men's and women's track and field and the cross country teams.
A native of San Diego, Texas, Luna graduated from San Diego High School in 1994. After graduation from San Diego, Luna attended Texas A&M University and served as a student athletic trainer under Karl Kapchinski. Upon graduation in the fall of 1999, Luna served as head athletic trainer at Brownsville Pace High School from January 2000-March 2001 before moving on to Corpus Christi Carroll High School where he served as head athletic trainer from March 2001-May 2006. In August of 2006, Luna returned to Texas A&M to begin work on a master's degree. In the spring of 2010, he completed his Masters of Education in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication and joined the athletic training staff as a full-time athletic trainer that fall.
Luna is married to the former Laura Escalon Longoria who is a teacher for College Station ISD. Saul enjoys reading, is passionate about helping/encouraging other to be the best they can be, and enjoys attending Brazos Fellowship.
