Nov 09, 2016 | Equestrian
COLLEGE STATION – The top-ranked Texas A&M Equestrian team closes out the fall slate as it hosts Delaware State, Thursday at 3 p.m. CT at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
"I am really looking forward to carrying this momentum forward to our last meet of the semester," head coach Tana McKay said. "It is a very quick turnaround from our last meet as we have only had three days to prepare, but our ladies are ready for the challenge."
The Aggies (4-1, 2-1 SEC) are coming off a 13-7 win over No. 3 Georgia on November 5. The Maroon & White was led by senior Kaci Fisher, junior Kai DeVoglaer, and redshirt freshman Ashton Dunkel, who earned MOP honors in Horsemanship, Equitation over Fences and Reining, respectively.
Scheduled to compete in Horsemanship for the Aggies is Fisher, sophomore Sarah Orsak, juniors Bailey Cook and Avery Ellis and senior Rachel Lucht.
DeVoglaer, along with sophomore Rebekah Chenelle, juniors Alex Desiderio and Rachael Hake and senior Haley Webster will compete in Fences.
In Equitation on the Flat, Chenelle, Desiderio and Hake will be complemented by senior Anna Rea and junior Maddie Swem.
Dunkel, sophomore Haley Franc, juniors Madison Bohman and Jaci Marley, and senior Sarah Kate Grider complete the Reining lineup.
