Men's Tennis
- Austin Krajicek became the first medalist in Texas A&M men's tennis history after claiming silver in men's doubles on Saturday. Krajicek and his partner Rajeev Ram fought tooth and nail against the Australian duo of Matthew Ebden and John Peers for the gold, but fell in a three-set thriller, 7-6 (8-6), 6-7 (1-7), 8-10.
Track & Field
- Bryce Deadmon and Shamier Little helped the United States mixed 4x400m relay team claim the silver medal as the team crossed the line in 3:07.74. This marked Deadmon's third career Olympic medal after winning gold and bronze in Tokyo. Little secured the silver in her debut games.
- Lindon Victor became Grenada's second-event Olympic medalist after securing bronze in the men's decathlon with 8,711 points. He also broke the decathlon discus Olympic record with a toss of 53.91m/176-10 and had another six season-best showings across the 10 events.
- Fred Kerley advanced to the men's 100m semifinals after winning his heat in 9.97. That time tied him as the top qualifier moving on to the next round.
- Jacob Wooten made his Olympic debut in the men's pole vault, finishing 22nd in the event with a clearance of 5.60m/18-4.5.
Swimming
- Sydney Pickrem closed out her individual events in Paris with a sixth-place finish in the 200m IM final, clocking in at 2:09.74.
- Beryl Gastaldello advanced to the 50m free semifinal where she secured an 11th-place finish with a time of 24.66. She returned to the pool later in the evening session to swim the anchor leg of the 4x100m mixed medley relay, helping France finish fourth with a time of 3:40.96.
- Jing Wen Quah helped Singapore clock a time of 4:05.58 in the 4x100m medley relay to place 14th in the event.
