Texas A&M Hits the Road to Take on No. 10 Oklahoma

NORMAN – The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to play at No. 10 Oklahoma Sunday inside of Lloyd Noble Center with the game being nationally televised on ESPN2.
The Aggies (8-7, 1-2 SEC) are playing their fourth-straight ranked opponent to start conference play for the first time in program history. The Maroon & White will also be one of four teams in the country (Purdue, Louisville, South Carolina) to have played six ranked foes this year once Sunday's games are all complete.
The team is led by Aicha Coulibaly who is averaging a team-best 12.1 points per game. Coulibaly is followed by Sahara Jones who is posting 10.8 points and 6.9 rebounds each night.
Jada Malone is shooting 64.9% from the field this season, which ranks No. 13 in the nation among players with at least 4.0 field goals made per game. Also high in the nation's rankings is Lauren Ware who is No. 31 in blocks per game (2.0).
Oklahoma (13-3, 1-2 SEC) is coming off a loss to Mississippi State Thursday night, 81-77. The Sooners have dropped two of their first three conference matchups but beat then-No. 15 Tennessee in a thriller on the road, 87-86.
They are led by All-American Raegan Beers who is averaging 17.3 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. Oklahoma is the No. 6 ranked team in the country in scoring offense (89.3) and No. 1 in defensive rebounds per game (34.1).
