Women’s Basketball Hosts Arkansas for Senior Day

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to host the Arkansas Razorbacks Sunday in the regular season finale at 2 p.m. inside Reed Arena where it will also honor six seniors for Senior Day.
The Aggies (10-17, 3-12 SEC) are 9-6 at home this season and looking to avenge a 72-51 loss at Arkansas (9-21, 2-13 SEC) earlier this year. Lauren Ware has been a force for the Maroon & White as of late, averaging 15.3 points per game and shooting 56.3% from the field over the last three outings.
Sahara Jones is leading all active players on the roster in points (9.5) and rebounds per game (7.0) this year. Jones has played all five years of her career at Texas A&M and is one of seven players in the league to have played five years for the same school.
Jada Malone is shooting 62.6% from the field this season, which is No. 13 in the country among players that have made at least 3.5 field goals per game.
Seniors that will be honored pregame are Amirah Abdur-Rahim, Aicha Coulibaly, Kyndall Hunter, Jones, Malone and Ware.
