Jeff Fiorenza Elevated to General Manager
Aug 18, 2025 | Volleyball
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M volleyball's Jeff Fiorenza has been promoted to the team's general manager, head coach Jamie Morrison announced Monday.
"I'm excited to share that Jeff [Fiorenza] has been elevated to the role of general manager," Morrison said. "College athletics is evolving, and our staffing must evolve with it. More importantly, Jeff has been an integral part of our program's rise to where it is today, and this new title is a well-deserved recognition of his impact and contributions."
Fiorenza joined Morrison's staff for his debut season in 2023 and took the reins of the setter group. His group took off behind senior Maddie Waak during the 2024 season, as she recorded the fifth-highest assists (1,153) and assists per set (10.48) in a season during the rally-scoring era in program history. Waak also garnered a pair of SEC Setter of the Week accolades last year.
"I'm extremely thankful to Jamie [Morrison] and the entire staff for the opportunity to take on even more responsibilities within the Aggie Volleyball program," Fiorenza said. "In this ever-changing landscape of college athletics, we are striving to be at the front of the pack. This new general manager role will provide us the ability to do this at the highest possible level."
Along with his general manager responsibilities, Fiorenza will remain as an assistant coach on Morrison's staff.
Fiorenza and the Aggies return to action Wednesday, as they host Baylor for an exhibition match in Reed Arena at 6 p.m.
