COACH'S QUOTES
Head coach Jamie Morrison on how the first home game felt…
"I forgot what it feels like to play here, but overall, I'm really happy with the way we played. The score was the score, but I thought the first two sets we played clean volleyball throughout."
Coach Morrison on responding from recent losses…
"Win or no win, it was the way we played. It was a response to the TCU match, I thought we played well for stretches of it, we made some changes that morning and leading to the game. We talked over it this week, it needed to be a continuation of that. The dominating win wasn't necessarily it, it was how we did it that I'm proud of."
PLAYER'S QUOTES
Senior libero Ava Underwood on how it feels to be back playing at Reed Arena…
"So good, we have been waiting to get back in front of the 12th man. It's been great, we love playing at home, it's a feeling like no other and the 12thMan really showed out today."
Freshman defensive specialist Addi Applegate on learning from Ava Underwood…
"It's great, she is amazing and like an older sister to me. I am grateful I got here when she's here, teaching me about the libero position."
UP NEXT
The Maroon & White return to Reed Arena tomorrow for the second day of the Texas A&M Invitational where they face New Hampshire with first serve set for 6 p.m.
